Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a complete shelving line engineered for strength and versatility, suitable for various industrial applications. Each shelving unit is crafted from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability and the ability to withstand daily use for a lifetime. The Hi-Tech® open style free-standing shelving features sway braces for added stability and is designed for quick assembly and installation. The shelves include two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamping on the top left corner. Class 1 shelves are roll-formed with rectangular tubular front and rear edges, featuring resistance-welded return bends on the underside. Welds are spaced 3 inches on center for maximum strength, and the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance the shelf's rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while other sizes are punched on 3-inch centers. The front and rear surfaces accommodate accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to absorb impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
