Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving solution designed for industrial applications with features that ensure durability and versatility. Each shelving unit is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel for strength and longevity, while the open style free-standing design with sway braces allows for fast and easy assembly. The shelving includes Class 1 shelves made from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, and resistance welded return bends on the underside for added strength. The welds are spaced 3" on center to enhance structural integrity, and the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All corners are lapped and resistance welded, contributing to a rigid design. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and a tubular front edge protects against impact loads, accommodating uniformly distributed loads up to 800 pounds.
