Hallowell® Hi-Tech shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with options for medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, it features 6 adjustable shelves, with class 2 shelves fabricated from extra heavy gauge steel and equipped with roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, resistance welded with return bends on the underside for added strength. The shelf welds are spaced 3 inches on center to ensure maximum durability, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded for enhanced rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2 inch centers on the front and back for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punctured for accessory attachments, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 1,200 pounds.
