Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered to support various industrial applications while offering versatility for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability and the ability to withstand daily use over a lifetime. The open style free-standing shelving features sway braces and is designed for fast and easy assembly. The shelves are fabricated with Class 1 standards, featuring roll-formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with resistance-welded return bends for maximum strength. The welds are spaced 3" on center, and the sides are triple flanged to form a channel, with all four corners lapped and resistance welded for added stability. Each shelf's top surface is punched for attaching dividers on 1-1/2" centers for specific dimensions of 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
