Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust solution designed to meet the demands of industrial applications while offering versatility for modern facilities. This shelving line is constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, ensuring durability and the capability to withstand daily use for a lifetime. Each open style free standing shelving unit is equipped with sway braces for added stability and features a design that facilitates quick assembly and installation. Class 1 shelves are crafted from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges featuring return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for enhanced strength. The welds are spaced 3" on center, maximizing structural integrity, while the triple flanged sides form a channel. The lapped and resistance welded corners provide added rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers on 36" wide shelves across depths of 12", 15", 18", and 24", with other sizes accommodating 3" centers. Both the front and rear surfaces are designed for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is specifically engineered to withstand impact loads. This shelving system supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds, making it a dependable choice for industrial storage needs.
