Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust shelving solution engineered to withstand industrial applications while offering versatility for modern facilities. Each shelving unit is constructed from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring an open style free standing design with sway braces for stability and easy assembly. The shelves are crafted with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, and are reinforced with resistance welding spaced 3" on center to maximize strength. The design includes triple flanged sides forming a channel, with all four corners lapped and resistance welded to enhance durability. The top surface of the shelves is punched at 1-1/2" centers for attaching shelf dividers, accommodating 36" wide shelves available in depths of 12", 15", 18", and 24", while all other sizes are punched at 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching additional accessories, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to absorb impact loads. This shelving system can support uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds.
