Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, this shelving unit features 8 adjustable shelves. The shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and feature roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, with welds spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. Sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure a rigid structure and enhanced shelf strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers on the front and back for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads. This shelving unit supports uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
