Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for quick assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving system includes 8 adjustable shelves and incorporates two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamps located on the top left corner. The Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel and have roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, which include return bends resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, ensuring maximum strength with welds spaced 3" on center. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for enhanced rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched to enable attachment of shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers on the front and back for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are designed to accommodate accessories, and the tubular front edge is engineered to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
