Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed of cold rolled sheet steel, the unit features 6 adjustable shelves, formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge, and stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel and include roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, with welds spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, with the shelving suitable for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
