Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves tailored to specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold-rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes six adjustable shelves. Each shelf is formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamped on the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold-rolled sheet steel, exhibiting roll-formed rectangular tubular-shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside. Welds are spaced 3 inches on center for enhanced strength, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded, ensuring a robust structure and reinforcing the shelf's integrity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers from left to right, along the front and back for shelves measuring 36 inches wide and 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches deep; other sizes feature punch centers at 3 inches. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to guard against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
