Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes six adjustable shelves, formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves feature roll-formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside, and spaced 3" on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
