Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, offering both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes eight adjustable shelves formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, each stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 0 shelves feature roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside, and welds spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for the attachment of shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are punched for adding accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
