Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for quick assembly and installation, featuring both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes 8 adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for easy identification. The Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel and feature roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center for maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance the rigidity and strength of the shelf. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep; all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
