Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for quick and straightforward assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate various shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes six adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves feature roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside for enhanced durability, with welds spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers from left to right for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, whereas all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces facilitate the attachment of accessories, and the tubular front edge safeguards against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
