Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is crafted for efficient assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles, with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the unit features six adjustable shelves and includes class 0 shelves that are fabricated from the same material and designed with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges. The resistance-welded construction involves welds spaced 3 inches on center to ensure maximum strength, while triple flanged sides form a channel for added stability. Each corner is lapped and resistance welded for rigidity, and the top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge provides protection against impact loads. This shelving is designed to support uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
