Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for efficient assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with options for medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves tailored to specific shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving includes eight adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 0 shelves feature roll-formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside for enhanced strength, with welds spaced 3" on center. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for dimensions 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep; other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched to accommodate various accessories, while the tubular front edge offers protection against impact loads. This shelving system is designed for uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
