Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, featuring open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to accommodate specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the system includes 8 adjustable shelves, each formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, resistant welded to the underside and featuring welds spaced 3" on center for enhanced strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for structural integrity. The top surface is pre-punched for shelf dividers at 1-1/2" centers on the front and back for shelves that are 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, whereas all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachments, and the tubular front edge is designed for impact load protection. This shelving solution supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
