Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy-duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Made from cold rolled sheet steel, the system features eight adjustable shelves that are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves consist of cold rolled sheet steel with roll-formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, featuring return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center for enhanced strength, while sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure a rigid structure and added shelf strength. The top surface is punched for shelf dividers that can be attached from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for various sizes, including 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads. This shelving system is suitable for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
