Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, this shelving features six adjustable shelves, formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, featuring return bends that are resistance welded to the underside, with welds spaced 3" on center to provide maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for additional strength. The top surface is punched for shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers, and both front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories. The tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, and the shelving is used for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
