Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to accommodate specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, this shelving unit features 8 adjustable shelves. Each shelf is formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and is stamped on the top left corner for identification. The Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and include roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, with welds spaced 3 inches on center for maximum strength. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance the shelf's rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2 inch centers for shelves that are 36 inches wide by 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches deep; all other sizes are punched on 3-inch centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching various accessories. The tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
