Hallowell® Hi-Tech® free standing shelving is engineered for rapid assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet various shelving capacity requirements. The adjustable medium duty shelves feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, with identification stamped in the top left corner. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel, incorporating roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside. The welds are spaced 3" on center for enhanced durability, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel for strength. Each corner is lapped and resistance welded to ensure rigidity and additional shelf strength. The top surface is pre-punched for shelf divider attachment at 1-1/2" centers for the 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched at 3" centers. Both the front and rear surfaces are also punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is specifically designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
