Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, it features 8 adjustable shelves formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, featuring return bends resistance welded to the underside to enhance strength, with welds spaced 3" on center. The sides are triple flanged to create a channel, while all four corners are lapped and resistance welded for added rigidity. The top surface is punched for shelf divider attachment from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Both front and rear surfaces accommodate accessory attachments, and the tubular front edge is designed to provide protection against impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
