Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, featuring both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving system includes 6 adjustable shelves formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, and is stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and feature roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside for added strength. Welds are spaced 3" on center to ensure maximum durability, while sides are triple flanged to create a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to enhance structural integrity. The top surface is punched to allow for the attachment of shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. Additionally, front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching various accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads. The shelving system supports uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
