Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is a robust and versatile shelving solution designed for industrial applications. This complete shelving line features units made from cold rolled sheet steel, engineered for both strength and longevity in daily use. The open style free-standing shelving comes equipped with sway braces for stability and is easy to assemble. Each shelf is crafted from heavy gauge cold rolled sheet steel, featuring roll-formed rectangular tubular front and rear edges with return bends that are resistance welded to ensure durability. The welds are spaced 3" on center to maximize strength, with triple-flanged sides forming a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded, enhancing the overall rigidity of the shelf. The top surface is designed with punched holes for attaching shelf dividers on 1-1/2" centers for shelves measuring 36" wide by 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additional features include punched front and rear surfaces for accessory attachment and a tubular front edge that withstands impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 800 pounds. This shelving solution combines functionality with robust construction, meeting the demands of modern facilities.
