Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. The shelves are made from cold rolled sheet steel and feature 6 adjustable shelves. They are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge, and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel and have roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, with return bends resistance welded to the underside for maximum strength, with welds spaced 3" on center. The sides are triple flanged to form a channel, and all four corners are lapped and resistance welded to provide a rigid corner and enhance the shelf's strength. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers, front and back, for shelves measuring 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep, while all other sizes are punched on 3" centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads. The shelves are rated for uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
