Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specially designed for fast and easy assembly and installation, available in open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves to meet specific shelving capacity requirements. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, it features 8 adjustable shelves. The shelves are formed with two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges and are stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are fabricated from cold rolled sheet steel with roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges, and return bends resistance welded to the underside of the shelf. Welds are spaced 3" on center to provide maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to form a channel. All four corners are lapped and resistance welded to ensure a rigid corner and add extra strength to the shelf. The top surface is punched for attaching shelf dividers from left to right on 1-1/2" centers for 36" wide x 12", 15", 18", and 24" deep shelves, with all other sizes punched on 3" centers. The front and rear surfaces are also punched for attaching accessories, and the tubular front edge is designed to protect against impact loads, making it suitable for uniformly distributed loads up to 400 pounds.
