Hallowell® Hi-Tech® shelving is specifically engineered for quick and straightforward assembly and installation, available in both open and closed styles with medium, heavy, and extra heavy duty shelves tailored to meet various shelving capacity needs. Constructed from cold rolled sheet steel, the shelving unit includes six adjustable shelves, which feature two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edges, stamped on the top left corner for identification. Class 0 shelves are crafted from cold rolled sheet steel and include roll formed rectangular tubular shaped front and rear edges with return bends, resistance welded to the underside for added durability. The welds are spaced 3 inches on center to ensure maximum strength, while the sides are triple flanged to create a channel. Each corner is lapped and resistance welded, enhancing the shelf's rigidity and strength. The top surface is punched to accommodate shelf dividers on 1-1/2 inch centers from left to right for 36 inches wide x 12, 15, 18, and 24 inches deep shelves, with other sizes punched on 3-inch centers. Additionally, the front and rear surfaces are punched for accessory attachment, and the tubular front edge is designed to withstand impact loads, supporting uniformly distributed loads of up to 400 pounds.
