These autoclavable desiccators are constructed from polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC), capable of maintaining a vacuum up to 740 mm Hg for 24 hours without greasing. They are autoclavable at 121°C for 15 minutes. The top dome, which is molded from rigid and transparent PC, allows for a crystal-clear view of the sample, while the knurled knob on the top facilitates easy handling of the dome. The lower section is composed of PP and features a perforated PP desiccator plate. An internal groove on the flange accommodates the silicon rubber O-ring. The PP stopcock is designed to accept 1/4" I.D. tubing and is equipped with a self-lubricating PTFE plug. Additionally, a three-way plug is included to enable the creation of a vacuum, release of a vacuum, or shut-off functionality.
