These autoclaveable desiccators are constructed from polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC) materials, capable of withstanding autoclaving temperatures of up to 120°C for 15 minutes. The top dome is made of rigid and transparent polycarbonate, offering a crystal-clear view of the sample within. To ensure easy handling, a knurled knob is incorporated into the design of the dome. The lower section is crafted from polypropylene, while an internal groove on the flange accommodates the silicon rubber O-ring, which helps maintain an airtight seal. It is recommended to apply vacuum grease on the flanges to enhance the airtightness of the system.
