These autoclavable desiccators are constructed from polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC) and are capable of maintaining a vacuum up to 740 mm Hg for 24 hours without any greasing. They can be autoclaved at 120°C for 15 minutes. The top dome, made of rigid and transparent PC, provides a crystal-clear view of the sample, while the knurled knob on top facilitates easy handling. The transparent PC bottom enhances viewing clarity, and an internal groove on the flange holds a silicon rubber O-ring securely in place. The kit includes a perforated PP desiccator plate, and the PP stopcock features a self-lubricating PTFE plug. The three-way plug allows for vacuum creation, maintenance, and release.
