The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet add-on units provide versatility for warehouses that have a wide variety of product types. An easy-to-order and pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column that allow shelf adjustment at 2-inch increments. The unit includes standard, pre-punched footplates which offer easy anchoring. Interlake Mecalux assembled bolted pallet rack add-on units undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, providing anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness, and great protection against everyday wear and tear of the warehouse environment. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that seats and locks automatically, protecting against accidental beam displacement, while the damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use. The 1 - 5/8-inch step within the orange pallet rack beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. The assembly is easy and straightforward, and these units are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) certified.
