The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units are designed for versatility in warehouses handling various product types. The pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, all manufactured from high-strength steel and quality raw materials. The uprights feature tear drop perforations for shelf adjustment at 2" increments, and standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The pallet rack units undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, which offers anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and durability against everyday wear and tear in warehouse settings. The orange pallet rack beams incorporate a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, safeguarding against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use, while the 1 - 5/8" step within the beams allows for the addition of wire decking and other accessories. The assembly process is straightforward, and the Interlake Mecalux bolted pallet rack tear drop starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
