The Justrite® Sure-Grip® EX Compact Safety Cabinet with a manual close door (model 891500) is designed for the safe and code-compliant storage of solvents and flammable liquids, including aerosols, cleaners, and degreasers, on countertops and workbenches. This yellow cabinet, ideal for maintenance garages with limited floor space, features portable exterior dimensions of 44 in H x 23.25 in W x 18 in D (1118 mm H x 591 mm W x 457 mm D) and has a storage capacity of 15 gal (57 L) for flammable liquids. Constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall and 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space, it offers fire resistance and longevity, achieved through fully welded, not riveted, construction that minimizes air gaps. The high-performance, manual-close, self-latching door, featuring a fail-safe 3-point stainless steel design, opens to a full 180 degrees and ensures secure closure for maximum fire protection. Continuous piano hinges facilitate smooth door operation, while the U-Loc™ handle provides enhanced security without requiring manual rotation to engage the mandatory latch. Each cabinet is equipped with a cylinder lock and key set or can accommodate a user-supplied padlock. The cabinet is marked with Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels stating "Flammable Keep Fire Away," ensuring visibility under fire conditions or during power outages. The model features one patented galvanized steel Spillslope® shelf, designed to direct spills into a 2-in (51-mm) leak-tested sump that meets EPA requirements.
