The Justrite® Sure-Grip® EX countertop safety cabinet (model 890425) is designed for the safe and code-compliant storage of flammable liquids, including solvents and aerosols, on countertops and workbenches. Constructed with a sturdy 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel double-wall, it features a self-close door that opens to 140 degrees, enhancing accessibility without compromising safety. The cabinet measures 22 in H x 17 in W x 17 in D (559 mm H x 432 mm W x 432 mm D) and can store up to 4 gal (15 L) of flammable liquids. To ensure fire resistance, it has 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space, and the fully welded construction reduces air gaps for greater fire protection. The self-closing doors automatically swing shut when the ambient temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) due to fusible links that hold the doors open under tension. The cabinet features a self-latching system with stainless steel bullet-slams and comes with an innovative U-Loc™ handle. For added security, it includes a cylinder lock and key set, or users may opt to use their own padlock.
