The Justrite Standard Sure-Grip® EX flammable safety cabinet with manual close doors (model 896003) is engineered for the secure storage of flammable liquids, featuring exterior dimensions of 65 in H x 34 in W x 34 in D (1651 mm H x 864 mm W x 864 mm D) and a storage capacity of 60 gal (227 L). Constructed from robust 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel with a double-wall design and 1.5 in (38 mm) of insulating air space, this cabinet provides enhanced fire resistance. Its fully welded, not riveted, construction improves longevity and fire protection by reducing air gaps. The cabinet is equipped with high-performance, manual-close, self-latching doors that open a full 180 degrees and feature fail-safe, 3-point stainless steel latches for optimal fire safety. Continuous piano hinges allow for smooth door closure, while an innovative U-Loc™ handle simplifies engagement with the mandatory latch. Security is enhanced with a cylinder lock and key set, or users can opt for their own padlock. The cabinet includes trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels for visibility under adverse conditions. Model 896003 features patented, galvanized steel Spillslope shelves that are adjustable on 3-in (76-mm) centers, each capable of safely holding up to 350 lb (159 kg) and designed to direct spills into a 2-in (51-mm) leak-tested sump compliant with EPA standards.
