The Justrite Sure-Grip® EX Slimline Safety Cabinet with 1 self-close door (Model 895420) is designed for the safe storage and segregation of flammable liquids in environments where floor space is limited, such as laboratories, construction sites, and engineering settings. Its exterior dimensions measure 65 in H x 23.25 in W x 34 in D (1651 mm H x 591 mm W x 864 mm D) and can store up to 54 gal (204 L) of flammable liquids. Constructed from durable 18-gauge (1-mm) thick steel with a double-wall design, it features a 1.5 in (38 mm) insulating air space for enhanced fire resistance. The fully welded construction ensures the cabinet maintains its squareness over time and minimizes air gaps, providing greater protection against fire. The high-performance, self-closing door opens up to 140 degrees and utilizes a patented concealed self-close mechanism for unobstructed shelf access, with continuous piano hinges for smooth operation. Under fire conditions, when temperatures reach 165 F (74 C), fusible links melt, causing the doors to shut automatically. The self-latching system employs three stainless steel bullet-slams for secure closure, and for added security, the cabinet features a U-Loc™ handle that does not require manual rotation. It includes a cylinder lock and key set, with an option to use a personal padlock. Additionally, the cabinet is equipped with a trilingual Haz-Alert™ reflective warning for safety compliance.
