The engine features cast-iron cylinder bores to protect it under dirty conditions, while a high-impact nylon shroud and valve cover safeguard internal components from damage. It includes a chopper grass screen guard that prevents grass and debris from packing, and a heavy-duty air cleaner along with a stamped steel guard designed to withstand tough mowing conditions. The engine operates with pressure lubrication and cooler operation, extending its lifespan. It is suitable for commercial wide area walk behind mowers, commercial zero turn mowers, residential riding mowers, and residential zero turn mowers. This four-cycle, twin-cylinder, air-cooled, vertical shaft gasoline engine is equipped with an overhead valve (OHV) design and a cast iron liner, ensuring robust performance and durability.
