The Kohler® Command Pro engine is a commercial-grade, 4-cycle, gasoline engine featuring an overhead valve (OHV) design, cast iron cylinder liners, and an aluminum block. It is engineered for extended maintenance intervals and fuel-efficient operation, making it ideal for intensive use of 12+ hours a day. Key features include integrated oil coolers that extend oil-change intervals and maintain low temperatures throughout the power range, high-efficiency, heavy-duty air filters that provide protection from debris for longer service intervals, and extra-large sleeve bearings designed to support heavy loads in commercial and industrial environments. The engine also incorporates hydraulic valve lifters, large-capacity air, fuel, and oil filters, an engine-mounted ECU and fuel pressure regulator, and a two-barrel carburetor specifically for the CV682, CV732, CV742, CV752 models, along with a heavy-duty air cleaner.
