The patented EgeeTouch® smart lockout tagout padlock is designed to modernize traditional keyed lockout/tagout (LOTO) systems by replacing multiple keyed locks with a single innovative solution. This smart LOTO lock features Bluetooth technology and multiple layers of access codes for versatile indoor and outdoor use, specifically tailored for managing tagout authorizations from remote locations at any time. Its advanced dual intelligent proximity and remote authorization technologies enhance productivity while reducing operational costs through high-security measures including the ability to assign, revoke, and track tag-out authorizations. The EgeeTouch padlock can generate up to 8 levels of administrator authorization and can support hundreds of thousands of user-defined encrypted IDs. Users can unlock the padlock by pressing a code on the entry pad or pairing it with Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as smartphones (Apple & Android) or smartwatches (Apple Watch and Samsung Gear S2/3). The system allows remote lockout and tagout capabilities, ensuring that the persons assigned to these tasks are visible within the app or software, providing transparency to all parties involved. Additionally, historical access records are maintained, detailing the time, date, and location of each action, and the device is powered by a battery.
