The Kohler® Command Pro® is a commercial-grade 4-cycle gasoline engine featuring an overhead valve (OHV) design with a cast iron cylinder liner and an aluminum block, emphasizing high performance and durability. It includes a Quad-Clean™ all-season four-stage cyclonic air filter for effective engine protection in harsh conditions, a large-capacity metal fuel tank for extended operation, and multiple fuel filters (fill neck, in-tank, and carburetor inlet) to ensure clean fuel delivery. The engine boasts a built-in warm-air system for cold weather operation, an electronic ignition system, and a large-capacity muffler equipped with a heat shield and spark arrestor. Key technical specifications include a CARB Tier 3 certification, increased displacement, a balance shaft (14 HP), dual ball bearings, a steel-forged-and-hardened crankshaft, and dual oil fills and drains. Additional features encompass an automatic low oil engine shutdown system, a Stellite®-faced exhaust valve, a carbon canister fuel cap, a water trap to separate moisture in fuel, a swirl-induction combustion chamber, and easy-access throttle, choke, and fuel shutoff.
