The KF-Series direct heat sealers are designed in a light blue color and feature an easy-to-use temperature controller. These sealers are capable of sealing most types of thermoplastic packaging materials, particularly thicker materials such as coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, Mylar, and coated polypropylene; however, they cannot seal polyethylene. The units can seal materials up to 8 inches wide and 20 mil thick, with a meshed seal width of 10 mm. They are equipped with a digital temperature controller that accurately adjusts the temperature from 125°F to 600°F (50°C to 320°C). Both jaws heat simultaneously, providing improved heat penetration for sealing thicker materials. The sealers also include an adjustable work table that facilitates the positioning of bags between the sealing jaws, enhancing overall control. The operation is straightforward: set the desired temperature based on the material, and once the setting is achieved, consistent seals are automatically maintained. The process involves inserting the material between the sealing bars and pressing down on the foot pedal to complete the seal.
