The KF-Series direct heat sealers are available in a light blue color and feature an easy-to-use digital temperature controller, allowing precise temperature control from 125°F-600°F (50°C-320°C). These sealers are designed to work with most types of thermoplastic packaging materials, particularly excelling with thicker materials such as coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, Mylar, and coated polypropylene; however, they are not suitable for sealing polyethylene. The units can seal materials up to 16 inches in width and 20 mil in thickness, with a meshed seal width of 10mm. Both jaws are heated simultaneously, providing enhanced heat penetration for sealing thicker materials. Included in the package is an adjustable work table that facilitates the positioning of materials between the seal jaws, thereby improving operational control. The sealers are straightforward to operate—users simply set the appropriate temperature on the controller based on the material, and once the desired temperature is achieved, consistent seal quality is automatically maintained. The process involves inserting the material between the sealing bars, pressing down on the foot pedal, and then releasing.
