The KF-Series direct heat sealers are designed in a light blue color and feature an easy-to-use temperature controller. These direct heat / constant heat sealers are suitable for sealing a variety of thermoplastic packaging materials, particularly effective on thicker materials such as coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, Mylar, and coated PP, although they are not capable of sealing polyethylene. The sealers can accommodate materials up to 12" in width and 20 mil in thickness, with a meshed seal width of 10mm. The digital temperature controller allows for precise temperature adjustments ranging from 125°F to 600°F (50°C to 320°C). Both jaws of the sealer are heated simultaneously, enhancing heat penetration for effectively sealing thicker materials. The units come with an adjustable work table that improves positioning of the bags between the sealing jaws, ensuring better overall control during operation. Operation is straightforward: set the appropriate temperature based on the material, and when the desired setting is reached, consistent seals are maintained automatically. The sealing process involves inserting the material between the two sealing bars, pressing down on the foot pedal, and releasing. Key specifications include a seal length of 12" (300mm), seal width of 10mm, and standing operation configuration.
