The KF-Series direct heat sealers, presented in a light blue color, feature an easy-to-use temperature controller and are designed to seal various types of thermoplastic packaging materials, particularly excelling with thicker materials such as coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, Mylar, and coated polypropylene, while being incompatible with polyethylene. These sealers can handle materials up to 16 inches (400 mm) in width and 20 mil in thickness, providing a meshed seal width of 10 mm. The digital temperature controller allows for precise temperature settings from 125°F to 600°F (50°C to 320°C), with both jaws heated simultaneously to enhance heat penetration for sealing thicker materials. The units further come with an adjustable work table for improved positioning of the bag between the seal jaws, ensuring optimal control during operation. Designed for ease of use, the operator simply sets the temperature according to the material, and once the desired temperature is reached, consistent seals are automatically maintained. The sealing process involves inserting the material between the two sealing bars and activating the foot pedal. The seal length is 16 inches (400 mm), with a seal width of 15 mm and a meshed seal style, conducive for standing operation.
