The UCR-series undercounter units are designed for environments where space is limited and health inspection approval is essential. The compact single door refrigerator and matching freezer measure only 20" wide by 21" deep, with an overall height of 31" when installed on the supplied 6" legs. A two-door companion refrigerator option measures 34" wide by 23" deep. The units feature a cabinet construction with stainless steel exteriors and anodized aluminum interiors, utilizing 2" thick foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation for optimal energy conservation and structural integrity. The doors are mounted on heavy-duty self-closing cartridge-style hinges that allow for a 120° stay-open position and are equipped with snap-in-place vinyl magnetic gaskets for a positive seal. A convenient double pull-style door handle made of black anodized aluminum is standard, and each cabinet interior includes 2 steel wire epoxy-coated shelves per section. The balanced refrigeration systems maintain refrigerator temperatures in the range of 35° to 38°, while the freezer model operates at zero and below. Refrigerants used are R134A for the refrigerators and 404A for the freezer, both of which are CFC-free and comply with environmental standards. An interior forced-air system with high humidity evaporator coils contributes to ideal food preservation conditions. The electrical units are factory-wired for connection to a dedicated 115/60/1 phase, 15 amp outlet and include an 8' long cord and plug set.
