The 10-32x7/16 Phil flat undercut thread cutting screw type F features a full thread design and is made from 18-8 stainless steel. This type F threaded screw is specifically engineered for use in heavy gauge sheet metal, aluminum, zinc and lead die castings, cast iron, brass, and plastic. When utilizing these stainless steel screws, it is important that the material into which the screw is cutting threads has a lower hardness by 10-20 Rockwell hardness to ensure effective performance. The flat undercut head design is ideal for applications where a flat head is required on shorter length screws.
