Southwire 28828228 Romex Simpull® cable with ground, yellow, 12/2 AWG, 100 ft, is designed for various applications, including both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90°C, with ampacity limited to that for 60°C conductors. This NM-B (nonmetallic-sheathed cable) can be installed in air voids of masonry block or tile walls, provided these walls are not wet or damp. The cable has a voltage rating of 600 volts and meets or exceeds UL standard 83, UL standard 719, federal specification A-A-59544, as well as the requirements of the National Electrical Code. Constructed as 2, 3, or 4 conductor cable with a ground wire, the cable features annealed (soft) copper conductors, with stranded conductors being compressed stranded. The conductor insulation is made of 90°C-rated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and is nylon-jacketed. Southwire's Simpull® technology facilitates easier pulling and installation. The cable jacket is color-coded for quick size identification: white for 14 AWG, yellow for 12 AWG, orange for 10 AWG, and black for 8 AWG and 6 AWG.
