The Blickman 7970SS-1 (Paul) instrument and supply cabinets feature maximum storage capacity with five polished glass or stainless steel shelves that can be adjusted every 1/2". The cabinet design includes a sloping top to prevent dust accumulation, and a locking door latch for security. It is equipped with three-inch swivel casters, two of which have brakes for easy mobility. Constructed from stainless steel, type 300 series, and nickel-bearing materials, the body, outer doorframes, and sloping tops are made from 18-gauge steel, while the door inserts are 20-gauge and the legs are 12-gauge. The cabinet consists of a storage compartment with a seamless welded face, double front edges, and is mounted on four offset type legs on casters. The two glass-paneled doors feature a double shell design and hinge on three semi-concealed stainless steel hinges. The right-hand door includes a locking handle with three-point latching, while the left-hand door has a dummy knob and spring-loaded nylon roller catches. The interior can be configured with either five glass shelves adjustable on full-height, slotted-shelf stripping or an 18-gauge stainless steel full height-and-width pegboard. The welding is conducted through the Heli-arc method with all exposed welds ground smooth, and exposed surfaces are polished to a satin finish. The cabinet also offers options like glides, stainless steel shelves, solid doors, and recessing flanges for built-in units.
