Blickman wall cabinets are designed for flush face construction with a recessed back panel to accommodate uneven wall surfaces. The cabinets feature solid doors that are double-walled for enhanced strength and sound deadening, ensuring optimal performance. The sliding doors operate quietly on noiseless ball bearing rollers, while the materials used include stainless steel of type 300 series, nickel-bearing, and 1/4" thick clear tempered sheet glass. The cabinet construction consists of individual freestanding units with finished sides and bottoms, along with rabbeted openings for doors. A recessed pan back that is 3/4" deep facilitates installation, and shelves are constructed with channel shapes on 1/2" centers extending the full height of the cabinet. The solid doors are dual-wall, telescoping pans with channel reinforcements, and the glazed doors feature a double-shell design with a one-piece outer frame that is die-formed to hold a rubber-gasketed glass panel. Doors can be configured as hinged, which are hung on semi-concealed stainless steel hinges, or sliding, which utilize overhead self-lubricating, noiseless ball bearing rollers and ride in stainless steel guide strips with recessed pulls. The narcotic locker cabinet includes a single wall, pan-shaped door behind the outer double wall door, each equipped with a non-duplicable, individually keyed lock. All welding is completed using the Hell-Arc method, with exposed welds smoothed out, ensuring that all visible stainless steel surfaces remain free from pit marks, weld seams, and scale, polished to a satin finish.
