Blickman wall cabinets are designed for flush face construction with a recessed back panel to accommodate uneven wall surfaces. The solid doors are double-walled for enhanced strength and are sound-deadened for optimal performance. Sliding doors operate quietly on noiseless ball bearing rollers. The materials used include stainless steel, type 300 series, nickel-bearing, with a thickness of 1/4 inch clear tempered sheet glass. The gauges for the cabinet body, shelves, and outer door pan or frame are 18 gauge, while the inner door pan or inserts are made from 20 gauge material. Each cabinet is constructed as an individual free-standing unit, featuring finished sides and bottom, as well as rabbeted openings for doors. A recessed pan back that is 3/4 inch deep is included to facilitate installation, and shelves are designed with channels spaced on 1/2 inch centers for the full height of the cabinet. Solid doors are constructed from double-walled, telescoping pans with channel reinforcements, while glazed doors feature a double-shell design with a one-piece outer frame, die-formed to accommodate a rubber-gasketed glass panel. Doors are available in hinged or sliding configurations, with hinged doors mounted on semi-concealed stainless steel hinges and equipped with die-cast aluminum bar pulls and spring-loaded nylon roller catches. Sliding doors are suspended from overhead, self-lubricating, noiseless ball bearing rollers, and travel along stainless steel guide strips, which are fitted with die-formed, recessed pulls that are welded in place. The narcotic locker cabinet includes a single wall, pan-shaped door located behind the outer double wall door, each fitted with its own non-duplicable, individually keyed lock. All welding is accomplished using the Hell-Arc method, and all exposed welds are ground smooth. The finish on all exposed stainless steel surfaces is free of pit marks, weld seams, and scale, polished to a satin finish.
